Hello, all!
Here we go again with the past, the present, and the future!
LAST WEEK
Don Hammer drove in from Raleigh to continue the second week of the review of The Transformation of American Religion.  Very interesting!
Don Redding shared a letter from Carl Hawn, who misses the Ownbey Class very much.  Don mentioned sending Carl a note every once in a while, saying that Carl's address is in the handbook.  I searched and searched...and didn't find it.  I dropped Don an email asking where to look, and his face got red!  The address is not in the handbook.  It is 100 Silver Beach Ave., #814, Daytona Beach, FL 32118.
The Curriculum Committee met last Thursday night.  It will be advising the class of the lessons selected for the second quarter of the year shortly.
South Tryon Community Church was visited by a team of members; the service is a bit different from those at Myers Park UMC.
