Class of ‘55 Has Chance to Do What “Smarty Jones” couldn’t!

Hello, Everyone! ! I !! Yes, looks like it will be up to us to be “Triple Comet” winners~ For the third consecutive year, Judy and Glenn have invited us to their lovely home on Lake Tillery for tim, friendship, fellowship, and maybe even a little frivolity. Thursday, July 22 is the magic date. Judy and Glenn are hoping to increase the number this year so please make plans soon to be a part of this summer reunion.

The menu will be a little different this time - hot dogs and hamburgers with all the trimmings - and even a little cobbler on the side. There will even be something for those “veggie” eaters. The cost is $7. As in the past, send in your checks to Nancy York, 2108 Lamar Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203. Please respond by July 10, if possible. We need to know the number for planning purposes. Remember that spouses and friends are welcome. We will probably eat around noon, but we are invited anytime from mid-morning on. Directions are on the back. We have started planning our 50th reunion, and we would like to ask for favors, If you have any pictures, etc., from those wonderful years, please bring them so we can share. Put your name on back, and we promise to get them back. Speaking of the 50th, we will probably have a little pre-planning meeting to discuss some things and listen to ideas. We want everyone who would like to help to be included. So put on your thinking cap, and come ready to talk that shouldn’t be a problem with our class. Seems we never run out of things to say. Also, please bring a current picture U!

Don’t forget ---- July 22 is the date. Come ready to see old friends and have some fun. Glenn will even take us for boat rides, if we are game. The water is fine... .right, Robert? For those who may not know, a few people got wet last year.
