SPECIAL NOTE: The Memorial Service for Randy Harris will be held on Friday, October 1^st, at 2 p.m.  Class members are asked to gather in the Narthex and enter the Sanctuary together.  The family will receive friends in Jubilee Hall following the service.

 >>Class attendance was very good as Ace Walker concluded the review of MOUNTAINS BEYOND MOUNTAINS by Tracey Kidder, the story of Dr. Paul Farmer and his medical ministries in Haiti.  Ace left the class with the question of what determines one man’s drive to help others.  (See LOOKING AHEAD, Oct. 17^th.)

>>>>Oct. 11-14 ~ More than 30 folks will participate in the ADULTS PLUS! Spiritual Life Retreat at Lake Junaluska.  The retreat program will feature Rev. Marvin Cropsey, editor of MATURE YEARS and General Conference materials.
