LAST WEEK:

>>Nov. 14 ~ Gaston Gage’s lesson  was based on THE ESSENTIAL REINHOLD NIEBUHR: Essays and Addresses..  He shared some good food for thought in the lesson.

>> John & Betsy Rasberry welcomed a new granddaughter into the world this past week (Tuesday, I think!).

>> Nov. 17 ~ Adults Plus! found out more about reminiscence and its healing powers when Robin Edgar, storyteller, workshop leader and author of IN MY MOTHER’S KITCHEN presented the program.  If you missed it, sorry ‘bout that!

>>Nov. 20 ~ You were invited to the 26th annual “Love Lights” event, a festival of luminaries lighted in memory of or honor of a loved one, taking place at Freedom Park, 1900 East Blvd., 5 – 9 p.m.  The Pilot Club of Charlotte sponsors the walk.  The walk around the lake is about a mile in length. In the event of rain on the 20th, will be postponed to Sunday, 21st at the same time.

The MYERS PARK UMC SUNDAY SCHOOL time is 9:45 - 10:35 a.m.
