I would like to invite you to be my guest at a special free luncheon on Wednesday, November 14 from 11:30 – 1:00 PM at the Westin, 601 S College Street in uptown Charlotte.  The event will feature two special friends and authors of Same Kind of Different as Me, Ron Hall and Denver Moore.  It recounts their true story of a homeless man in Fort Worth and an international art dealer.  Together they have an inspiring message of faith, hope, and humanity. 

The lunch will be a Thanksgiving celebration presented by the Urban Ministry Center, which serves our city’s 5,000 homeless neighbors.  It is designed to bring awareness of homelessness in our community, and to coincide with National Homelessness Week.

There is no charge for lunch or for parking.  A hat will be passed for those who feel inclined to make a financial contribution, but there is no expectation to do so.
