Problems with ACDSee

33 04/05/05 3:33 pm - I replied that I sorry tech gets so many emails, did not know what EULA was and would assume ok to use on two machines and that I will try the uninstal. I asked about getting $ back and mentioned the overcharge of 79$ instead of $59 as I must not put code in right way, said my w98 machine works ok except with this program.
32 04/05/05 3:13 pm - Tech Reply saying tech cannot read all this. Said must be my machine. Would not answer if I could use on teo machines on network. Gave steps to manually ubnistal product as follows.
Before beginning, make sure that all ACD Systems software is closed. (Including down by the clock.)
1. Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:

2. Run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
3. Select all ACD Products and click Remove, close the utility.
4. Navigate via explorer to the C:\Program Files Folder. Delete the ACD Systems Folder.
5. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Common Files folder and delete the ACD Systems folder in there.
31 04/03/05 12:15 Still waiting for answer from 3/31/05; this is a serious problem with this product - the lack of adequate tec support response time and results. The product still gives me a grayed our screen asking for license number and - will not let me enter it - clicking on "continue" makes it disappear with no program open, as I have explained below often.
30 04/03/05 Received survey on quality of Tech support; this is my answer.
29 3/31/05 Main issue is I need the program to work on the w98 because that is where a lifetime of pictures are.

27 3/31/05 I asked for suggestions again and if ok for me to use same license program on my two computers.
26 3/31 I tried their suggestions on my w98 and cannot get beyond the first step because of "internal error..."
25 3/31 Heard from Tech and they suggested I try to uninstall and reinstall . Gave suggested steps (same as 08 below)
24 3/30 too slow reading my picture files on w98 across the network.
23 3/30 Worked fine but on xp
22 3/30 I installed on my xp and added the license
21 I called the Tech number and left message
20 I emailed tech again.
19 I wrote Tech but no answer for a while.
18 other times I received another message ... which I determined was for a big file but I forget its name.
17 I started getting messages such as "Internal error shellmgr30.dll"
16 Tried this several times followed by several attempts to uninstall
15 I clicked on continue and the screen went away and nothing happened.
14 I closed the program and a few days went back to it and lo I had a grayed out screen asking for my license but not letting me put it in.
13 All was fine with the world for a while
12 I let it do a catalogue of my 30,000+ files and used the d drive for storage.
11 This finally worked, now that I had paid and I had the license.
10 I did another uninstall and install this time on the d drive and put the license in.
09 I gave up and bought the program.
08 I tried over and over again and wrote you folks and followed your suggestions of how to uninstall and remove and using r_acd.exe
07 I did a reinstall but it told me some file was corrupt for the free trial copy.
06 I deleted them.
05 I did an uninstall but it left the data files on the c drive.
04 I too late tried to set the data file to my d file. That worked but I had to get the files off my c drive.
03 Worked ok until I cataloged my 30,000+ pictures on w98 and it filled up my free one gb on my w98 c drive.
02 I download and tried out 7.0.62 on both my networked w98 and xp machines
