THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY BASEBALL IS SUCH A STUPID GAME -HERE ARE A FEW:

• How many other games are there where fans can reach out on the field and physically interfere with the player's attempt to make a play? (and it's even OKAY !)
• Why does the manager wear a stupid uniform? He doesn't do it in any other sport, and he certainly isn't going to play!
• And come to think of it, why is he called a manager? He's a coach, for gosh sake!
• Why does a relief pitcher throw for an hour in the bull pen, and then they give him five more warmup pitches after he gets to the mound? Wouldn't you like to have five practice free throws in basketball?
• Why does the manager make this big show of arguing with the umpire for prolonged periods? There hasn't been a decision reversed in 110 years 
• Why are the fields all different sizes, and the fences? They aren't in any other sport - except maybe golf, which isn't really a sport anyway 
• Why does the 80 year old manager have to take 10 minutes to walk out to the mound? He's going to take the pitcher out anyway (or he's going to leave him in). Needless delay. And then the relief pitcher takes an additional ten minutes to get there, even in a golf cart, which he doesn't need. 
• Why can't a player leave, and come back in? (He can in any other sport.) And I'm not talking about designated hitters, which is another stupid rule. Either you are a player in the game, or you are not.
• A nine-inning game would be played in under two hours - easily-without all the unnecessary delays. (TV must love baseball - all those long periods of time where absolutely nothing is happening on the field - all that time for commercials
