Garden of Good

ADULTS PLUS -- OR MINUS !
(Four Days in the Garden of Good -- No Evil !)

What a wonderful, eclectic mix --
As we talked, ate, rode, walked and snapped pics --
Led by capable, staunch Barbara Barden,
Always there, like a bright, cheerful garden!
And our wonderful bus man, big Bob --
Who at driving big rigs is no slob !
We enjoyed the "Leaves", Bippy and Paul --
Gladly with us, Spring Winter or Fall.
Then those happy folks Bert and Lou Freeman,
With their good words, smiles always gleamin' !
Adults Plus vets, and Buker and Ken --
Help us newcomers -- 'cause they've "done been" !
Faithful, knowledgeable Lee and Ann Morris --
We don't have to think -- Lee does it FOR us !
And young Mr. Hamrick, good "Joe" --
Tells us travel info we must know !
Those agreeable, good folks, the Ropers --
Always positive, upbeat -- not mopers !
Golden Girls, Goforth and Stancill --
Add a lot -- glad they didn't cancel !
Wonderful additions Marie and Bill Pearce --
Steady, strong -- with a loyalty fierce !
Don't forget the Sills, Margaret and John --
Nice a pair as we've e'er come upon !
Of course, the Dozers, suave Bill and dear Mabel --
Despite what Lee Morris says, Mabel IS able !
Grogans -- Tall Bob and "spousee" --
Are both rolling along, "Marilea" !
Charming friends, Martha and Preston Guiton,
Never EVER are "feudin' or fightin' " !
Quiet but nice Millers, Bonnie and Gene --
Feel it's best to be not heard, just seen !
Statuesque Lou and Miz Bledsoe --
Gracefully mix as they glide to and fro.
Gay damsels, Mesdames Kemmerling and Cooper --
Do it all, and with attitudes sooper !
And our Tar Heel for Life, Redding -- Don,
Who seems always to have CAMERA on !
Think about Heintzelmans -- who "missed the ship" --
Sorry this trip they had to "Skip" !
We're the GRATEFUL pair, Anne and Bob "Lamudue" --
Who are glad just to BE here with you !

And, above all, for this great trip -- for ALL of us --
