Be sure you have the Parking Pass. If you forget it, they do have a listing and you probably can explain that you have a pass at home and still get in. I have done this before.  My name is on the list for two parking passes.

From Raleigh I think the best way is to take I 40 to exit 273 and follow  Raleigh Road  west (It is also Highway 54 here) into Chapel Hill. At 15/501  Raleigh Road changes to South Road but there is no change in direction for you (but Highway 54 goes to the left and I am suggesting you not use it tho you will coming back). Continue west on South Road from the intersection of 15 / 501 for about 1.5 miles to McCauley Lot on McCauley  Street. AT about a mile the Bell Tower (and Kenan Stadium tho you cannot see it) is on the left. Continue on  South Road until you come to Columbia Street intersection and go through it (on to McCauley St)  by baring very slightly to the right (not a big right or you will be on  the one way Columbia Street heading to down town) and it becomes McCauley St and the lot is on left just before the light at Pittsboro Street.

Have the Parking pass  on the dash. I usually turn left as I enter the lot and park as far down that way as I can. Best to back in because of the traffic after game.

Need to decide how you will go after the game. Because traffic will be heavy around the Bell Tower / Kenan Stadium, I suggest you do not go back the way you came but instead come out of the McCauley Lot and turn left on McCauley St, then almost immediately turn left again at the light on Pittsboro St and go about 2 miles until it runs into  15-501 intersection. Then go left on Highway 54 and 15-501 (on map I see it is referred to as Fordam Blvd tho I never called it that) until you come to the intersection you originally crossed coming in and turn right on Higway 54. Stay on  highway 54 east / Raleigh Road back to I 40 and exit 273.
