Dear Ownbey Class,
I'm sending this early this week to remind
you of the dinner at Charlotte Cafe Wednesday night (9/13) at 6:00. If you
find you can go but are not on the list, call Durward Owen, who is in charge of
reservations.
Thanks to Bob Lumadue, Don Hammer, and
Harlan Creech for all of our treats last Sunday. Bob and Don gave us a
delightful, scholarly look at poetry in the Bible, and Harlan brought everybody
delicious tomatoes from his bumper crop this year.
The Ownbey Class will provide lunch and
refreshments for Habitat for Humanity on August 29.
There are no birthdays this
week.
Our teacher this week is Reatha Andrew; her
topic is "World Vision--Kenya."
