Another Tr

This car was bought Labor Day weekend 1963 and it has been
all over the Eastern United States. A couple of my children learned to
drive in it. There are some real photos of it on the Picture link Page.

The car came with a tractor engine and has 139,000miles on it.
I have replaced the clutch, crankshaft, steering column, removed
the top struts, and repainted it 5 times, a few at (spelling?) Earl Schweibs  (remember them).

Unfortunately it has been off the road for about 2 years as of 3/15/00.
Steve's Motorsports did $800 work on it to replace radiator (good job)
and rebuild carburettors (ooooops, Don almost got killed
when it died the next day on Park Road).

It now is in the hands of a knowledgeable Englishman who has it running
and inspected. Trying to get overdrive working with relay
and solenoid replacement (really do not want to go into the OD and transmission);
if that works will go after carburettors again and maybe some other stuff.

If any one has worked with a tr3 overdrive, let me hear from you.
