For 12 weeks? The Helping Hands Committee proposes a project of having six individual groups of 4 — 6 people from our class attend the 11 a.m. worship service at South Tryon Community Church. Consideration suggested by Ann Copeland who volunteers at the church’s soup kitchen and the pastor, Rev. Charles Rivens, who feels that our presence would aid him in encouraging attendance of Latinos and Whites from the local community.
