This is an update of the mowing situation.  Willard was scheduled to mow last week but Chip did it. This week Len was to mow but Carol felt it did not need it.
Durward was scheduled to mow the next week (9/5) but cannot, and I am asking Durward with this message if he can do 10/03.
I am asking Len to do next week (09/05). If so, Len, please give the key to your self and then after your turn , get to Wes.
Wes and others, then get the key to the next scheduled person. I have extras if the key gets lost.
Not sure how long we will do this but if we continue, we will start over the schedule with don redding 10/10/03.
Tell me of any conflicts in the schedule and we will rework it.

Hi Reatha, Willard, Wes, Jim, Skip, Durward, Bob, Len (July 20, 2003)

I visited with Carol this morning, and I believe one person can handle yard ok unless you just want company. We have it covered this weekend  (of 7/25) . I have had some extra keys made to shed where mower is.  I was going to write some instructions, but in effect Carol has done as follows.
 

• Oh Don, I tried to call you back tonight after I found your card in my door. My days are so long and I leave early and come home late.  Bless you for lining up folks.  I am going to give you my nephew, Rem Rogers, cell phone number and you can talk with him. (The shed has the mower and you will have key. dsr)   The mower and gas are  in the shed.  Chip has the mower set for the right height taking into consideration the tree roots etc. His number is     704/361-0847>  In Chip's Pathways class, there is an Eric somebody who is offering to mow.  I guess Barbara     would know who that is.  That class by the way plans to spend its S.S. time this Sunday visiting Chip.  Is that not     great?  If it would stop raining, mowing could be done every other week.  By the way, Rem left some spots in the     middle of the front and back yard, that must have looked like young trees.  Not so.  Just stuff growing out of stumps which should be cut also.  Thanks Don.  I am o.k. with Thursday.  A little scared but knowing a lot of folk are there with me.  I Will be o.k.  Chip is coming along  slowly and is first in my prayers.          Love, Carol.

• there is a primer on the front of mower, and I found I needed to squirt it a couple of times to get started.. Starter cord on handle near  right top of handle. Of course hold / squeeze handle bars together when pulling cord to start.  Several cans of gas in shed,  but we have to be sure not to run out. Shed is at back of  yard to the  left. There are   two sheds. Hers is the larger (and your key will work on it!). Her yard facing house goes about a foot or so to right of her drive. On other side of house it goes to just in front of the (I forget name ) trees. Pretty easy to tell. Address is 1130 Cheddington Drive. Go east (north?) from Cotswold on North Sharon Amity about 4 or 5 blocks. Turn left at a blinking YELLOW light  on to Walker, then right on Cheddington. Here is a link which might work  1130 Cheddington Drive.. Remind me what weekends are not ok for you out of the next couple of months. Some of you already told me but I forgot. If you want a specific date, tell me and I will work to accommodate you. Thanks
• It appears it takes one person about one hour and 5 minutes to mow the yard, then could spend 30 to 40 minutes doing some clipping, some (light) grass and weed pulling, maybe rake or sweep the back patio and steps, etc. You will see what I mean when you get to working it.
• We have several sets of keys to make it easier to open the shed if no one is home. I will get to you before you need them. Be good to call and let Carol, etc. know you are coming and what day you select. Her number is 366 9524.
• Need to check if enough gas. Also clean the bottom of the mower some time.
• On the schedule I  assigned only one person per weekend. If you want, It might be fun to double up with a buddy, and I will leave those arrangements in your hands.

I will get schedule and keys to you within the next week.

Thanks for volunteering to help with Carol's yard.

She had a relative do it last week.

I will go by her place tomorrow and look at the size of the job and equipment. I
