Information of interest with the * beside
new stuff:
1. Room 109
1. Thanks to many of you who have been helping get the room ready and have made suggestions.
1. *After class last week a suggestion was made that we try arranging the chairs with our backs to the window. We rearranged the chairs that way later in the day and it does give more room for congregating before class (and for those who like less change, it is a lot like our old class.) We moved Rev. Ownbey to another side for a trial. Let us know how you like it.
2. Nothing new to report other than we are working on Shutters , Blackboards / whiteboards / Bulletin Board, and Storage
3. * Chairs - As mentioned above, we now have 55 chairs.
4. Hymnals: How many are we supposed to have? How many are dedicated?
5. Comments / suggestions / etc. Feel free to add to the discussion. Other issues
2. New Church Members - Who follows up on this - any volunteers.
3. Memorials
1. A suggestion has been made that the class give either as a group or individually to the Tim Hayes Paramedic Fund. Mr. Hayes is the EMS employee who lost both legs helping motorists during the snow storm on I85. We will discuss on Sunday February 9. The address is Tim Hayes Fund, BankAmerica, Box 651658, 28265. Article at http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/news/5023761.htm
2. (Action Taken) Contributions
1. We voted to give $100 out of the class Treasury to the Tim Hayes Paramedic Fund.
2. In addition, instead of a special collection it was suggested that class members who wanted to contribute more could send individual checks to the fund.

1. The new church web site is up and running somewhat. They are in the process of redoing all the pages.
2. The home page might not link you to other pages, but if you are nosey you could go to http://www.mpumc.org/mpumc/church_staff and try some of the links.
3. Two great additions are a calendar for the month and a list of upcoming events or news as they call it. We really have needed these. They are not complete yet, but the idea is right.
4. My index of the site is out of date but I am working on adding the new links as they are added to the church site and I will put the * on updated links. You will see I have a long way to go. See it at http://donredding.com/m.htm
